The Örgryte-Härlanda apartment housing is a social housing facility with support.

The operation includes both emergency housing and social housing with support, aimed at adults who are outside the regular housing market. The target groups include individuals with harmful use or addiction, criminality, and mental health issues, often in combination with psychosocial problems.

The support is provided in the individual's home and is tailored according to the assistance decision under the Social Services Act. The work is based on voluntariness, relationship building, and individually tailored interventions focusing on housing stability, structure, and long-term solutions.

At the same time, a development project is underway within the administration to review target groups and assignments for apartment housing. The aim is to create a more cohesive and possibly more targeted group moving forward, based on a holistic approach for all apartment housing in the city. This means that the operation is in development and that methods and focus may change over time.

The operation includes both supported housing and apartment-led interventions, including short placements within emergency assistance. Residents live in apartment blocks on Frödingsgatan and Zachrissonsgatan as well as in integrated apartments located in the district.

As a treatment assistant, you work on behalf of the social services and in consultation with the individual. The intervention is voluntary and is designed according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. You work relationally, structured, and motivationally to strengthen the resident's housing ability, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• motivational conversations and individually tailored support
• support in managing housing, rental relationships, and daily structure
• contacts with authorities and collaboration with health care
• work to counter social isolation through leisure and employment
• case management for a number of residents
• establishing and following up on implementation plans
• ongoing documentation in Treserva
• shared and practical tasks within the operation

You are part of a larger workgroup and work closely with colleagues, method supervisors, and unit managers. The work requires flexibility, clarity, and the ability to handle different target groups and housing forms simultaneously.

Working hours are scheduled for days, late afternoons, and weekends. Employment rate is 38.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education in social work, such as a YH education as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, treatment assistant, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience working with homelessness, addiction issues, and psychosocial problems. Experience working according to the Social Services Act and knowledge of MI, LAB, or similar working methods are also seen as advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have work experience in documentation and structured work.
